About Me

Hello, hello!

My name is Aubrey Joy; I’m a 20-year old avid reader. My hobbies are reading *obviously*, dancing, being outside, traveling, managing my Instagram accounts and learning about sustainability. I live in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest and plan to travel. I attend the Minnesota State University Mankato with an interdisciplinary studies major and a dance minor. My favorite color is blue. Continuing on, here are some of my favorites:

  1. Fantasy
  2. Contemporary

Hello! Your not boring my dear, you’re fabulous! Maybe you and Andi should reconnect on this topic…..I bet she’s read all of these as well since I have read over half of them and she reads 10xs more than I do! Keep reading!

Maybe you can help me. I’ve been trying to add my Liebster award to blog but can’t. How did you do it?

I ordered it when it first came out, not even realizing it was the prequel trilogy. (That was a surprise!) It might be superficial, but I LOVED the cover. (I should note that I love all her covers.)
I guess it’s all down to personal preference and whatnot, but I would take that whole series over the other any day, even without the characters (which I also prefer).
You’ll have to let me know what you think of it after you’ve read it!

      Mr. Jerome Mark Antil,
I was looking up some of your other works, would I have to read another book before this to get the full story of this book?

It might help but in The Book of Charlie – I reestablish the characters pretty strongly – so it wouldn’t be necessary. Book one – The Pompey Hollow Book Club kids are 9, 10. In The book of Charlie – we are 13, 14. JMA

Just had a big interview with ABC on the third book in the series. MARY CRANE and a Pompey Hollow Book Club Seance with Sherlock! Hope you get a chance to read it.

Hey, it’s the girl who made you the green tea thingy in Scooter’s! :)
To begin with – I love your blog – and I’m new at this so I don’t know if you take requests from the comments, but I have a few books I think you’d at least like. You don’t have to blog about them or anything, but I just wanted to share them with you because they kind of changed my life and the way I look at things. Just like your quote/banner said; they are books I could enjoy reading over and over again. If you’re interested here’s a few titles:
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky (It’s short and sweet, leaving you yearning for more. The only annoyance is it’s written solely in first person letters, but it makes the book seem far more personal as you go on.)
Hush, Hush by Rebecca Fitzpatrick (It’s the first of a series and ruefully, I only read the first book, but it really had me hooked.)
And Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. (You’ll either really like it or really hate it; I haven’t witnessed anything in between.)
I know from your posts that you have a lot of books to read and I’m not sure how you choose them but if you have time and you really want to I think you’d like these. (Especially Hush, Hush. It kind of goes along the same lines as the Immortals, The Mortal Instruments, Twilight, and the Beautiful Creatures series.)
Thank you for the lovely note; it made me smile the entire drive home. :)

Oh my gosh hey! You have no idea how happy that made me! I will totally read those books. I have heard great things about all of them. I’ve read The Perks of Being A Wallflower, but I read it when I was in probably 5th grade so I was really confused, but I am definitely going to read it again :) I’m so glad you like my blog! I’ve worked so hard on it and I’m so glad I ended up leaving you that note :) thank you for commenting :)

Hi! I just discovered your blog, and it is so lovely! I love books and ballet too, and while I was never quite good enough to be a professional dancer, I still love it so, so much! :)
