Good evening, lovely followers. It’s Friday again, but this is the first Friday of the year! Woo, I would say this is going to be a special post, but it really isn’t. Just a normal Friday Reads. Anyway, I am almost through The Calling by James Frey (as in 50 pages almost), and will have a review up tomorrow midday. My goal for this month is to finish all the books I’ve started before starting any new ones. I have been “currently” reading Blog Inc. since July… I just need to finish it; I’ve also been reading Power of Half since October (I think) and I really need to plow through that one. I don’t know why I’ve not finished either of them, because they’re both very good and very short. I plan on making progress in those two fairly soon, as well. Also have been reading Clockwork Angel. It’s Cassandra Clare. Of course I love it. Have I read it in a while? Nope. Should I soon? OF COURSE. Because Will Herondale.

Today we got to read during one of our classes and I almost started crying because of Jace and Clary. I can’t even. It is so sad. I just got to the part in City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments #3) – Cassandra Clare where Jace came to Clary’s room in Alicante and he said, “There is no pretending,” Jace said with absolute clarity. “I love you, amd I will love you until I die, and if there’s a life after that, I’ll love you then.” WHAT? THAT IS SO CUTE AND SO PERFECT. I can’t wait to finish this book. I have so many feelings invested into this series. If Jace dies during the last one I will go all Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters and write a strongly worded letter to Cassandra Clare. I will need a different ending.

I just finished It’s Not Summer Without You (Summer #2) – Jenny Han and I just start Talented (Talented #1) – Sophie Davis. I got this book as an ebook copy from NetGalley. I requested it a couple days ago and got accepted to read it so I want to get it reviewed as quickly as possible. I’m on page 28 and I’m already really liking it. It reminds me of Evolution (Evolution #1) – Kelly Carrero and I really liked that book as well. These people have powers because of a toxic waste spill that contaminated all the bodies of water on the planet. I think it’s a very cool concept and I’m really excited to read it. There are also others in this series as well and I can’t wait to pick those up. When I finish that novel I will definitely pick up Shadowland (The Immortals #3) – Alyson Noël because I really need to continue on with that series to see if they get better than the second or can top the first.

This weekend I plan to finish The Legend of the Moonstone: A Series for Kids and Young Adults – Meglena Ivanova. It’s a very weird book and the concept is really weird. These people things live on the Moon and then go to Earth and it’s just odd. I don’t know. I don’t hate it but I’m not loving it as of right now. After I finish that book I will start It’s Not Summer Without You (Summer #2) – Jenny Han.
